As the world is becoming more eco-friendly so should food menus. Not everyone is a carnivore or a pescatarian as most restaurants cater to these types of eating lifestyles. There is a growing number of vegans and vegetarians and because of the selection that most restaurants give, options are limited and that hinders other guests who may be accompanying this person to have to give up going to their favorite spot. In large metro areas like New York City it is not very difficult to find places that serve a beyond burger or seitan. It is when a vegetarian/vegan goes on these outskirts to Long Island or even out of state where the problem arises.

More restaurants have been popping up around like Veggie Castle, Veggie Grill, and Urban Vegan Kitchen. However, when friends go to Dallas BBQs, vegetarian and vegans are now left with getting a garden salad and fries to try to satisfy their appetite. There is no question of whether or not this is an injustice to a growing percentage of people in this country. There have been improvements shown with different chains like Red Robin and Fridays bringing veggie burgers and beyond burgers to the menu but it is not enough. All restaurants should have a vegetarian/vegan menu.
